Mount Fable
May 2, 2001
It's a long approach but well worth the views. We happened to climb it when there was a forest fire raging in the north, giving us surrealistic scenes but poor visibility. On the other hand we enjoyed warm temperatures, even on the summit. |

After leaving Exshaw Creek to start up the drainage, Dinah Kruze, Anita Jelinski,
and
Kari Haas stop for water.

On the summit. A hazy Grotto Mountain in the background.

summit along the ridge

More of the summit ridge

On the
return, some technical bits slowed us down.
