Crystal Ridge (Explore)
Icefields Parkway, Alberta
March 31, 2001

Distance: 5.7 km
Cumulative Elevation Gain: 210 m

Before I started doing my own snowshoe trips, I ventured out with the Hostel Outdoors Group. This trip was noteworthy because of the enormous crystals we found, which led us to dub the ridge, "Crystal Ridge." Crystal Ridge is actually the south ridge of Cirque Peak.

We reached an open area soon after starting out

We came across these crystals

Plenty of interesting rocks to explore
