King Creek Ridge
Kananaskis, Alberta
June 19, 2005

Despite being only two days shy of summer, cool weather brought snow to Kananaskis. This short hike suited the weather conditions and King Creek Ridge fit the bill for Dinah and me.

Easy hike up the lower slopes

Regarding the ridge ahead

Behind us rises the north end of Mount Wintour

Forgetmenot flowers

South fork of King Creek stretches behind us

Continuing along the ridge

Dinah stands on the summit, under a cloud while a nearby slope basks in sunlight

Heading back

Mountain sheep
