Dry Island Buffalo Jump

For something completely different, and to avoid the heavy rainfall expected in the mountains on that day, we visited Dry Island Buffalo Jump. It lies north of Drumheller, less than two hours drive northeast of Calgary. There are no mountains here, but these badlands are fascinating. We had no destination, but simply wandered around the west end of the park, taking pictures. Most photos need no explanation.
We wandered around looking at anything that caught our eye
I climbed into a hole (mouse over for a close-up)
I think of the hoodoos at the bottom as the "Seven Dwarfs"
