Rimwall Summit
Kananaskis, Alberta
October 8, 2001
Distance: 7.5 km (4.7 mi)
Cumulative Elevation Gain: 973 m (3192 ft)

Dinah and I teamed up with Al and Elizabeth to climb Rimwall Summit. The route starts up the trail to West Wind Pass. Before reaching the pass, we left the trail and started climbing the southeast ridge. Al set a furious pace so there was little time to stop and take photos. Indeed, if we hadn't taken a 15-minute break at the bottom after summiting, we would have done the trip even quicker. Perhaps someday I'll return and do this trip at a little slower pace to take in the views.
